i am curious...

After seeing the news titled "Malaysian government faces lawsuit over deadly landslide"..  just wondering if the Government loses in the lawsuit.. what are the penalties would like? repaying the residentials? send the responsible persons to jail? if the Government is repaying the residents.. where is the money should come from? from the Government's money isn't it come from tax payers, like me? What have the tax payers did? the responsible person or the 'leaders', although they are representing the Government but due to their wrong judgement and ignorance, they are not carrying out their job professionally... arent they the one should be accounted for? let's see how this incident goes...
