Last month, I was trying to post something about my new laptop purchased during the PC Show. But I couldn't devote some time for it. So, in conjunction that the laptop is one month old with me, I make up something here.
The laptop is not intended for my use, I bought it for my mum :) The title is a little bit mis-leading. I doesn't make much differences I think. :)
While walking around during the fair, I was actually tempted by Lenovo S10 for her and HP DV4 for myself. It's a little bit too heavy for my pocket to buy 2. Though, I thought of getting a netbook for her. However, she wanted to have a DVD ROM with it. After much consideration, I think quite troublesome for her to have 2 separate things to take care of. So decided to get a notebook for her.
I got this laptop from Harvey Norman, I think it's quite a good deal though.
The only few things that lack off would be Bluetooth and a better graphic card. I guess that's not so important for her at the moment. This laptop actually has an extended warranty up to 3 years. So I think with the value of S$899, the price is almost there. Probably it could be cheaper if during the special deal hour.
Here is a short video converted from the flash from HP website that tells about CQ40.
